As Guilty as War

Exit mother peace
until theres no more trace of her
yielding to the wishes of men
to self destruction

All turned in to this
malicious call of war
and this
senseless pride of the nations
Praising the blind justice of
the trigger and its wrath
Where men are as guilty as the women
are as guilty as the children
and are as guilty as the hatred
that dwells inside the hearts
of those who are hungry
only for the dictates of foolish glory

Exit mother peace as though
she never existed
There in those lands where
her name was never heard of
Where her shame was the loss
of all that killed the others
